Jesus has the initiative of the calling. His mode of action reveals God's freedom both in the act of creating and in his acting in the conduct of history. No force forces God to do something, He is free in himself, that is, by essence. He himself creates the project and prepares those who should put it into practice. When Jesus ascended the mountain, a sign of freedom, because in the open air, God always spoke in the Old Testament and now speaks through his Son, manifests his design and calls, first and foremost, to Himself, that is, to be with Him , to live a deep friendship, to possess the richness of a deep spiritual and human intimacy, those by Himself dear ones.

He empowers them, prepares them for the same mission of salvation, grants them their power, sends them to the same people and with the same words. The apostles become bearers of Christ (Christ forums = Christopher), light in the Light, to enlighten the world.
